Teeth Team takes dental education directly to children by going into local primary schools. We help teach the students about healthy diets and dental hygiene and we also apply a fluoride varnish where required. With the help of dental superheroes Captain Incisor, Mighty Molar, K9, Baby Toof and Pre-Molar Girl, we help the children learn the importance of keeping their teeth healthy, whilst giving them an entertaining diversion from their daily timetable.
The programme is a well-established and nationally-recognised child dental health improvement initiative, facilitated within the City of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire in conjunction with 543 Dental Centre.
It’s a great opportunity for area dental professionals to give back to the community, promote dental health and, ultimately, appear more visible and approachable to local families.
